MOUNTAIN BIKING

It is an awesome way to discover Ecuador. One of our expertise is organizing Biking Programs. We have developed a wide range of biking packages available from, 1 day to twenty-two days biking across Ecuador; you decide whether to go east or west, the jungle or the coast, as you hurtle down glaciated mountain trails. Our biking tours are organized to accommodate relative beginners or regular cyclists’ appetites.

We specialize in day biking tours and there are numerous adventures within easy reach of Quito situated within the Andean Valley of the Volcanoes and thus providing many downhill courses through a variety of terrains to excite the adventurous tourist. Follow the links for further details and do not forget to look at our longer tours of 8 and 14 and, 22 days. On our biking tours, you will have a great opportunity to look into real life in Ecuador, as you visit traditional remote Andean villages and communities. We will take you off-the-beaten-track destinations, where peace, tranquility, and the stunning scenery will accompany you on your way; lush green sub-tropical forests, stark Andean moorland, or the dazzle of the pacific as your cruise down the Sun’s Route (Ruta del sol); there is a tour for everyone!

As well as our regular bike tours, we can offer a combination of options to suit anyone’s interest. The following are our options:
Type Road Level

Downhill Highlands Easy
Cross country Cloud Forest Medium
Cycling Jungle Difficult
Uphill Experts

Therefore you can pick “downhill through the highlands” on what we term a “medium” difficulty circuit. Our terms are based on the terrain we will ride and the amount of uphill you would ascend. Therefore, most downhill runs are easy on the legs; however, some tracks are more developed than others are, so this decides the level of difficulty. Cotopaxi downhill, for instance, is medium-level; the track is good but it is a steep run and so you gain plenty of speed!

Here is a list of some of our day trips:

Tandayapa Circuit, Pululahua Volcano Crater, Papallacta Hot Springs, El Chaquiñán, Otavalo Market, Chimborazo, and Cotopaxi Volcano.

On all of our tours, there will be a support road jeep available in case of fatigue; it will pick anyone struggling with the day’s activity, though it is always our first concern to ensure that all tours are suitable for the participants.
