Cotopaxi & Quilotoa

Day 01.- Quito - Cotopaxi
07:00a.m departure. 1hr drive towards the Cotopaxi National Park. While we cross the volcanoes avenue, we will enjoy beautiful landscapes characteristic of the Andean Region as well as some mountains and snow pick volcanoes such as Pasochoa, Rumiñahui, Illinizas North and South, etc.

Program starts around 10:30 4.600mts we will have a small briefing about basic techniques employed for downhill cycling and equipment. We start riding downhill towards El Salítre Pre-Incas archeological ruins (15 km ride +-) where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
After lunch and some rest we continue our trip through the north face of Cotopaxi National Park until we reach El Pedregal Village (15 km ride +-) On the way we can observe wild horses, lamas and maybe a couple of foxes. We will finish the program around 16:00

Quilotoa Lake Visit to the bottom of the crater. Box lunch, return to Quito.
